GROUP 2 -meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 2pm

For both members who are active gardeners and those wishing to become one, the groups looks around members’ gardens and talks about practical gardening. Occasional visits to other gardens with an exchange of ideas, experience and advice. There is usually one topic of particular interest to discuss such as winter gardening, house plants, vegetable gardening, containers, garden centres, propagation.

CHANGES TO MONTHLY MEETINGS

Thursday March 7th

Due to illness the scheduled speaker at our meeting on March 7th has had to pull out. Our replacement speaker is Trishia Francis who is giving us a presentation on "London Street Art".

"When you hear the words "street art", do you think of graffiti and vandals scrawling on walls or a genuine art form? There will be a slide presentation based predominantly on Tricia's original art trail but also including additional research which she hopes will aid your understanding of what has become for her a fascinating subject."

The meeting onThursday 2nd May now resheduled to Thursday 9th May

The hall will be in use for local elections on May 2nd and our meeting has thererfore been rescheduled to Thursday May 9th

Our speaker will be Sasha Taylor who will present an overview of The Kent Resilience Forum
