DAY TRIP TO BRIGHTON, INCLUDING TOUR OF THE ROYAL PAVILION ON THURSDAY 13 JUNE

DAY TRIP TO BRIGHTON, INCLUDING TOUR OF THE ROYAL PAVILION ON THURSDAY 13 JUNE

We start off by visiting the Pavilion with an audio guide included in the cost.

The Royal Pavilion is an exotic palace in the centre of Brighton with a colourful history. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV, this historic house mixes Regency grandeur with the visual style of India and China. A recent addition is the restoration of the saloon to its 1823 splendour and the Regency styled garden conforms as closely as possible to the original list of plants supplied to George IV.

After the tour there will be ample time to explore Brighton itself. Highlights include the famous lanes full of quaint little shops and restaurants, the Victorian Pleasure Pier and the famous beach.

We will leave Kings Hill at 9.00, which gives plenty of time for a coffee break en route before our 11.50 tour in the Pavilion. We will leave Brighton at 4.00.

Price £28 per person, which includes coach travel by executive coach, entrance to the Pavilion and coach driver’s gratuity.
