The 9 Holers Golf Group started up in April this year and has now grown to include 12 members. 

It’s for Kings Hill U3A members who are not part of a golf club but now want to play a sociable round of golf on a “play when you fancy it basis” Its based it on 9 holes as a start because now we are all  getting older and 18 can be a bit too much sometimes. Some members prefer to play to play 18 which is fine because this is a group with very few rules. We have all exchanged e-mail addresses and then when we fancy a game we just copy in the members  with a suggested day and approximate start time and usually one or more will take it up. Poult Wood Golf Club  is both reasonably close and priced but if someone wants to play at Leeds Castle for example and can find someone to join them that is just great.
